Visit the scaffold
As the tower is in scaffolding, you will get an unique chance to experience this building in a rather unique way.
It is possible, under expert supervision, to visit the huge scaffold. At height, you can admire the many sculptures. You can observe structure and architecture from a different, unique perspective and will understand why restoration is required.
Last but not least, this scaffold offers a wonderful, unique view of the city.
You will reach the scaffold through the builder’s hoist on the outer side: an extremely solid construction which is continuously inspected and monitored and is used to transport tons of construction material and many workers. The scaffold-floors (‘scaffold layers) are surrounded by safety nets and are wide enough to make a walk around the tower.
A visit to the scaffold of the Eusebius takes up approximately 1.5 hours and starts with instructions. You will get safety helmets and safety shoes. Minimum group size: 10 persons. A visit to the scaffold costs € 25 per person.
